Well, here’s a cheap (nay, free!) method of making certain you are able to throw in an additional 21MB of RAM into said smartphone without requiring a hardware upgrade. All you need to do is tweak the kernel and remap memory usage to free up a bunch of resources, which will involve a custom kernel image. Pretty neat, eh? Unlike computers these days, 21MB of additional RAM does speed up a handset pretty noticeably.
